We’re looking for two IT support technicians to join a highly regarded, privately owned organisation in the healthcare space with 200+ practices across the UK. This is not a typical service desk role. Alongside day-to-day support you’ll carry out on-site IT “MOT” assessments, working directly with stakeholders to optimise systems, improve productivity and ensure best use of technology. You’ll be part of an established, in-house IT team, working under influential leadership, with clear progression opportunities into IT Engineering/3rd Line responsibilities. You will lead cyber incident investigations with SOC and client teams including – The triage/analysis of alerts, performing threat hunting/detection use cases and managing vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts. Utilising the Microsoft security stack (Sentinel, Defender, Purview) it’s a chance to progress out of an operational role to include more design/development work following a secure by design approach to deploy zero trust policies for clients. It’s a chance to mentor junior analysts and attain certifications on the job working at a buoyant business.

Working for an innovative technology company it’s a chance to get involved in a wide range of areas including monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, detection engineering, automation and internal security operations. You will monitor security alerts generated by Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender. Utilising SIEM, IDS/IPS and threat intelligence platforms to identify, contain, and remediate threats, you will develop and implement new detection rules ialigned to the MITRE ATT&CK framework. The company will fund SC-200 exams and study time is allocated.
